How do you get the textured effect? What type of paint do you use, just acrylic Bottles? Have you ever used gold/silver foil?

Gesso will give you a great texture! Yes, it is just acrylic paint. Yes! I love using gold leaf foil on artwork! I just gently lay pieces on the canvas after the paint has dried, brush on a little foil adhesive, then brush off any excess foil!
